Steve Davis is the founder and chief executive officer of Davisbase Consulting. An information technology professional for more than 20 years, he has hands-on experience with all aspects of the application development life-cycle utilizing a myriad of methodologies. He has worked with organizations of all sizes, from Fortune 50 companies to startups. His extensive background includes PMO development, project management, quality assurance, team development and business analysis, as well as agile implementation, coaching and training. He has worked with over 300 agile teams and, as a coach and mentor.
Steve has learned that people and results are what matter most ― and applies that line of thinking with the teams which whom he works. He has participated in the development and deployment of large enterprise systems such as SAP, SharePoint and Oracle, as well as custom-built solutions in healthcare, financial services, insurance, ecommerce, retail, construction and other industries. He has demonstrated his ability to coach teams at a very detailed level, while communicating effectively and building trust with senior executives.
Steven has spent the last 17 years in the software development industry, first as a programmer and later as a development manager and director. He has been involved in the Agile development scene for the past 10 years, been an active contributor to the Agile Denver community and was on the organizing committee for Agile 2005. He has taught and led teams varying in size from small shops to large, distributed organizations in their transition to using agile methods. Steven is currently an Agile coach and product trainer for VersionOne.
Kevin Thompson, Ph.D., has a doctorate in Physics from Princeton University, and extensive background in managing software development projects. He specializes in training individuals, teams, and organizations in agile development. Dr. Thompson helps companies make the challenging transition to agile development by working with development teams and business stakeholders to identify their needs, define the right process for the business, determine the steps needed to implement the process, and work through the steps successfully.
Dr. Thompson has Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM), and Scrum Practitioner (CSP) certifications.
Jason coaches, teaches and mentors product managers and teams to achieve their goals through Agile principles and practices. He brings his professional experience with software companies, a telecommunications carrier and the Marine Corps to consulting engagements. HIs expertise spans Agile software product management, product marketing, business planning, partner relationships, project management and leadership. Jason attends and speaks regularly at local events - wherever he works - national and international events including Scrum Gatherings and Agile Alliance conferences. He holds an engineering degree from Cornell and a MBA from Duke and is a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Professional.
Paul Dupuy is an Agile generalist with extensive experience building and maintaining enterprise software, training and coaching teams in Agile technical and workflow practices, and managing large-scale enterprise Agile adoption programs. Paul has contributed as an Agile Developer and Coach on teams working with a wide range of software platforms and languages in a variety of industries. He was Product Owner for an Agile work management application, has played the role of ScrumMaster, and regularly co-trains Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Product Owner courses. Paul is currently playing the role of Managing Consultant for an Agile adoption at a large telecom, helping to design and implement the transformation program.
